The bouquet was presented to representatives from People’s Postcode Lottery as a thank you for five years of fantastic support for Magic Breakfast. Since 2014 players of People’s Postcode Lottery have awarded an amazing £1.3 million to Magic Breakfast, which has enabled the charity to grow significantly. In 2017, thanks in large part to this support, we were able to expand into Scotland and now more than 1,200 Scottish schoolchildren are benefiting from a healthy Magic Breakfast at school.

The Headteacher of Castleview Primary, Clare Langley, said: “Eating a healthy breakfast is so important for children so that they can start morning lessons settled and ready to learn”.

Alex Cunningham, CEO of Magic Breakfast, said: “On behalf of all children who are now having a nutritious breakfast each school day, we would like to say a huge thank you to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for five incredible years of support”.

Magic Breakfast would also like to send a special thank you to the catering staff at Castleview Primary who support the breakfast club every school day and who looked after us and People’s Postcode Lottery guests so well during the visit.  Guests also had a fantastic tour of the school after breakfast, which was led by two Primary 6 pupils and was very informative. We hope everyone enjoyed eating the fruit bouquet!

Thank you Castleview!
