Three years ago, the Scottish Government promised to deliver breakfast to children and young people in all primary and special schools.
Since then, the Government has chosen not to serve a single slice of toast, piece of fruit or bowl of porridge to children at risk of morning hunger. By failing to deliver on their promise, they are failing Scottish children.
Breakfast can’t wait any longer. Scottish children can’t wait any longer.
We are calling on the First Minister, John Swinney, to fulfil his Government’s promise to hungry children, help bring an end to morning hunger and give Scottish children a chance to learn, grow and thrive. Read our open letter.
