Today marks the start of Parliament’s summer recess.
That means the House of Commons and the House of Lords are now closed for business until the 2nd of September.
However, our work continues over the summer as we prepare for Parliament’s return, when we will push for the school breakfast provisions within the Children’s Wellbeing Bill to be prioritised, and for the government to set out a full implementation plan for long-term school breakfast provision.
We know that Breakfast Powers Opportunity, and that a full, nutritious breakfast at school is key to powering the opportunities in every classroom across the country.
Breakfast powers the day, imagination, and the next generation! Together, we want to demonstrate the power of school breakfasts and end child morning hunger now and for good.
