On 16 July, pupils and teachers joined us in Parliament Square and outside Downing Street to speak up about something simple but vital – that no child should be too hungry to learn.
This short video shows children and young people at the heart of the action – holding banners they helped make, reading their own words aloud – and hand-delivering over 1,300 messages to 10 Downing Street.
Each message shared what breakfast at school means to them – focus, confidence, energy – and why it should be available to every child.
The Government’s promise of free school breakfasts for primary-aged pupils is a step forward, but it leaves too many behind. Now is the moment to make it right.
Hear their voices, and email your MP to help turn their message into action.
