Right now, 4.5 million children are living in poverty in the UK, leaving too many without a reliable meal to start their day.
A simple, nutritious school breakfast can make all the difference for children and young people. For some, it might be the first time they eat a full meal since lunch the day before. For others, it might be the difference between concentrating in class and making the grade or being distracted by rumbling tummies.
For many of our pupils, mornings are unpredictable and emotionally charged. A warm, welcoming breakfast space creates a calm transition into the school day, reducing anxiety and setting a positive tone.”
