Magic Breakfast exists to ensure no child or young person in the UK starts their school day too hungry to learn. The charity provides access to nutritious breakfasts for over 300,000 pupils daily across more than 1,000 schools, while influencing national policy. Guided by a bold three-year plan, through 2022-25 Magic Breakfast expanded its food offer, improved uptake, and became more efficient and collaborative.
Campaigns such as Breakfast Powers Opportunity helped position school breakfasts at the heart of new government commitments. Through strong evidence, collaborative strategic partnerships, and a passionate, high-performing team, the charity not only fuelled learning but created sustainable and systemic change.
Schools that work with Magic Breakfast report calmer mornings, happier children, and stronger family engagement. With 88% of schools expressing deep trust in the charity, Magic Breakfast is not just feeding children but breaking down barriers to opportunity so all pupils can thrive.
