We are celebrating six fantastic months of partnership with Deutsche Bank, creating brighter mornings and bigger futures.

Colleagues and senior leaders from Deutsche Bank have come together with Magic Breakfast to inspire young people through meaningful conversations, new experiences, and a chance to imagine what’s possible for their future.

Six months into our Charity of the Year partnership with Deutsche Bank, we’re already seeing the power of what can happen when organisations come together to support children and young people, ensuring they have the nourishing start they need to learn and thrive!

Earlier this month, a group of Year 5 pupils from St John’s CE Primary School and St Paul’s Primary School visited Deutsche Bank’s 21 Moorfields office for a special School Engagement Day. The visit gave pupils the opportunity to explore a new environment, meet people from different career backgrounds and build confidence through a range of interactive activities.

Over a yummy breakfast, pupils chatted with Deutsche Bank colleagues about their favourite breakfast foods, their working day, and what motivates them. These simple conversations helped break down barriers and create connections from the very start.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in a hands-on financial literacy workshop, led by Money Ready, designed to encourage teamwork, problem-solving and creative thinking. They also had the chance to enjoy a wellbeing session in the bank’s wellness suite, where they enthusiastically tested their balance with their best eagle poses.

One of the highlights of the day was a special Learning from Leaders session with Fabrizio Campelli, Vathany Vijayaratna, and Richard McCarthy. Pupils asked thoughtful and wide-ranging questions that went far beyond careers and job titles. They wanted to know about favourite school subjects, books, hobbies and, of course, breakfast choices.

These conversations gave pupils the chance to see that leadership comes in many forms and that successful careers often begin with curiosity, determination, and the confidence to ask questions.

As one student reflected:

This was probably one of my most favourite trips.”

As we mark six months of our partnership with Deutsche Bank, this visit is a powerful reminder of the magic of partnership! Together, we’re helping children start the day ready to learn while creating opportunities that broaden horizons, build confidence, and encourage young people to believe in their potential.

We know that the magic is what happens beyond the food, and when children have both the fuel to learn and the chance to dream bigger, they are better equipped to shape their own futures.
