Save the date: Tuesday 28 November!

Magic Breakfast is once again taking part in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, a match-funding scheme that sees any donation you make doubled when you donate between 12pm Tuesday 28th November – 12pm Tuesday 5th December 2017. This is a fantastic opportunity for your donation to reach twice as many children as it normally would.

The effect of your donation

Through your support, last year we managed to surpass our target of £60,000 and raise a whopping £80,000 that allowed us to reach 14 schools and provide 182,910 breakfasts to over 900 children! THANK YOU!

Your support really does have a big impact. A head teacher of one of our partner schools recently commented:

"Breakfast club has been an absolute godsend for many of our children. We get lots of children who come to school who haven't eaten since tea time previous and some who have not actually had anything since we fed them the previous lunchtime. We have noticed since feeding some of our children [breakfast], particularly the challenging ones, they have had much better days and completed work as they've been able to concentrate, having full stomachs".

2 Magic Breakfasts for the price of 1!

Magic Breakfast passionately believes that no child should miss out on their chance to succeed because they are too hungry to learn. It costs just £5.50 to provide a healthy, nutritious Magic Breakfast to 25 children.

With the Big Give Christmas challenge your donation will be doubled meaning a donation of e.g. £5.50 will provide 50 breakfasts, unlocking up to 200 extra hours of learning for otherwise hungry children. Magic Breakfast is aiming to raise £70,000 via this year’s Christmas Big Give, which will support 13 schools for one year, feed over 800 children each day, provide 169,845 breakfasts and unlock up to 680,000 hours of learning!

How to make a donation:

On the day the campaign kicks off we will provide you with a link to our project that will allow you to donate to Magic Breakfast. You will need a credit or debit card to make a donation.

Any amount you can give makes a huge difference to a child’s life:

·£4.50 provides a hungry schoolchild with healthy and nutritious breakfasts for a month (2 months as part of the Christmas Big Give)

·£42 provides a hungry schoolchild with healthy and nutritious breakfasts for a whole year (2 years as part of the Christmas Big Give)

·£100 provides 455 healthy and nutritious breakfasts to schoolchildren (910 as part of the Christmas Big Give)
