Santa in the City is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit!
This year’s festive fun walks and runs will be held on December 8th, 9th & 10th, 2026. To mark our 10th Anniversary, we will be launching a Santa Walk on each evening of the event.
You choose whether you want to walk or run on 8th, 9th & 10th December 2026. Walkers start at 7:00 pm each night, and runners start at 7:15 pm each night.
Every adult participant gets a 5-piece Santa Suit (includes a hat, beard, jacket, trousers & belt), a participant number & medal. Under 18s run for free, and you can select their places when you sign up.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. When you sign up, you need to choose to collect your Santa Suit on the day from our collection point in Paternoster Square, London, or have it delivered to you in advance, and postage fees apply.
The Route
Your Santa Run 5km route will begin in Paternoster Square.
Your route will start by going past St Paul’s Cathedral and then across Blackfriars Bridge, where you will enjoy world-famous views of Tower Bridge, The Shard of London, and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre.
You will then go over Southwark Bridge and join the Thames Path, where you will head towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge via some of London’s most unknown hidden paths.
You will then return through the City, back over Southwark Bridge to the lively Bankside area, on the south side of the River Thames.
After another 500m, you will cross the Millennium Bridge and once again take in the views of St Paul’s Cathedral as you head towards the finish line in Paternoster Square, completing a truly iconic route!
No previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 5km, relatively flat, and you can walk or run.
