Our stories Magic Blog Fundraising on the go Run Forrest Run! Or in this case, Mo, Matt and Ann, who last weekend ran in the Heaton Park 10K for Magic Breakfast. These three stars are all tutors with YipiYap. YipiYap Ltd is a tutor service that harnesses the academic skills of gap year students taking time out before university, and has been a long-time supporter of Magic Breakfast. It was a very hot day for running but luckily the route took them through the shadier parts of Heaton Park and all three made it round in good time. Congratulations! There are so many great ways to raise money, it doesn’t have to be running. Jess Shepherd, Regional Director at Yipiyap said: "We’ve done numerous events such as bake sales, giving up sugar for a month, dry January, even climbing Snowdon, it all adds up". You don’t have to join organised challenges either, you can make up your own. Paul Perry from Bank of America Merrill Lynch recently raised £1000 running from his home to his office – 28 miles – leaving at 4am so that he was there in time to open for business and breakfast! Then there are people like Robin Clark who take on ridiculously impressive challenges. Robin is taking part in an Ironman challenge in Zurich on 29 July. Swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 and then running 26.2! If you’d like to support us it is easy to set up a personal donation page on our website and then just send the link to your friends. So next time you’re thinking of challenging yourself, be it a tough mudder, a 5k or giving up chocolate we’d love it if you could support us. By doing so you’ll help provide lots of nutritious breakfasts to hungry children so that they can face their own challenges and succeed. Manage Cookie Preferences
