In 2021 the Scottish Government committed to providing free school breakfasts for all primary and ASN pupils.
With the launch of the Bright Start Breakfasts Fund, Scotland has taken the first step to begin the journey – but without a clear national plan, a timeline, or full funding, the promise remains unfulfilled.
The promise has been made. Let’s make sure it reaches every child who needs it.
