Easy Banana Pancakes

This is a quick and easy banana pancake recipe with eggs, flour, milk and banana

Ingredients

  • 150 grams flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 240 ml buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 splash vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 whole banana ripe bananas are best here

Instructions

  • Mix the dry ingredients - in a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  • Mix the wet ingredients - in a separate bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, honey, vanilla, melted butter and mashed banana.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Gently fold together until just combined.
  • Heat a lightly oiled pan over medium heat.
  • Spoon in the batter and cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden.
  • [Optional] To serve, top with yoghurt, blueberries and a drizzle of honey.
