Schools Nutrition MBW2018 Day 5 26th January, 2018 To round off our week of breakfast, the team at Foxlow Restaurants have shared their recipe for an easy and invigorating way to kick off your Friday morning - Cannellini beans, garlic & fresh herbs on toast! Our knower of all things nutritional, Harriet Green, is on hand to tell us the benefits of this breakfast. (If you missed her other top tips this week, have a look back at our previous posts!). ⭐️Cannellini beans are high in protein and fibre, which is a great way to have a savoury and high protein breakfast! ⭐️They also have a low GI score meaning they are great for keeping you blood sugar levels balanced and providing steady energy, keeping hunger at bay. ⭐️Lastly they are full of lots of antioxidants which are great for protecting the skin from sun damage. A HUGE thank you to all our partner restaurants for taking part in #MagicBreakfastWeek and to everyone who posted an empty bowl in order to spread awareness about the need to put an end to child hunger in the classroom.
