Magic Breakfast's partnership with Amazon was launched in December 2016 with Amazon supporting up to 77 schools around the UK every year. Incredibly, since then, Amazon has unlocked close to 5,000,000 breakfasts for children at Magic Breakfast schools.

More recently, in a direct response to the pandemic and school closures, Amazon, mobilised to provide critical strategic support in the way of fulfilment and delivery expertise, allowing the charity to repurpose our entire delivery model. By leveraging Amazon’s logistics expertise, Magic Breakfast were able to offer breakfast provision for families at home when they needed it the most.

Unlocking home deliveries is an example of how Amazon harnesses their unique spirit of innovation, limitless grit, and infinite heart to help build strong communities.

Amazon has done much to raise the profile of Magic Breakfast. In November 2020 Amazon ran a Covid-19 relief campaign and Magic Breakfast was one of the five charities to benefit, raising vital funds through employee matched donations. Furthermore, to spread festive cheer after a particularly challenging year in 2020, Amazon created the Very Important Breakfast Clubs, hosted virtually by stars including Joe Sugg and partner Dianne Buswell, Professor Green and Rachel Riley, to bring joy to children at five Magic Breakfast partner schools. Excitingly, our partnership was also profiled in the i newspaper’s 2020 Christmas Appeal of which Magic Breakfast was the beneficiary. The Appeal raised just over £400,000 for us through reader donations.

“Thank you to every single member of the Magic Breakfast and Amazon teams for making this work [Amazon home deliveries]. It's been an amazing team effort.”  Magic Breakfast partner school.
