Who are you and what is your role at Kraft Heinz?

I'm Mike and I work in the Revenue Growth Management team at Kraft Heinz. I have also had the pleasure of leading the partnership between Kraft Heinz and Magic Breakfast since October 2022.


Could you tell us a bit about Heinz’s mission and why you partner with Magic Breakfast?

Kraft Heinz is working towards alleviating world hunger through the collaboration of partnerships with organisations to combat this worldwide issue. And looking into the UK specifically, we understand that there is huge task at hand with 1 in 4 children at risk of hunger currently.

As the Covid pandemic began, we knew that partnering with Magic Breakfast to support their mission in ensuring that no child in the UK is hungry to learn was the right thing to do!


How long has Kraft Heinz been working with Magic Breakfast and how do you support us in our mission?

The partnership first began in 2020 at the beginning of the Covid pandemic with large-scale donations of Heinz Baked Beanz. Since then, the partnership has continued to deliver Heinz Baked Beanz to more and more Magic Breakfast schools with the aim of providing as many kids across the UK with a healthy & filling meal to start their school day ready for learning.


How has Kraft Heinz supported Magic Breakfast over the years?

The partnership between Magic Breakfast & Kraft Heinz has evolved huge amounts since it began through strong collaboration and now covers more than just the donation of Heinz Baked Beanz.

There have been several engagement initiatives in the previous years, such as; mentoring, work experience days and reading support sessions. We have also run many large-scale retailer activations with our Heinz Baked Beanz cans such as the ‘Beanz for every child’ campaign. The #SilenceTheRumble campaign in 2020 was a particular highlight in raising awareness for Magic Breakfast and child hunger in the UK.


Anything else you’d like to add about the partnership? 

We will continue to support Magic Breakfast in this journey towards what has become a shared mission. We look forward to continuing to grow this partnership to increase our impact and support more hungry children across the UK.
