Role: Secretary to the Board

Hours: 40 hours per month

Salary: £28,000 -£30,000 pro rata depending on experience 

Location: Central London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to work as a Secretary to the Board of Trustees of an influential charity that provides food for vulnerable children and supports their educational opportunities across the whole of the UK. 

As the Secretary to the Board you will provide proactive, confidential and business support and advice to the Board of Trustees. In this influential role you will provide effective support to ensure that the Board has efficient integrated governance arrangements in place.

You will be involved in planning, arranging and producing agendas and the subsequent minutes for meetings of the board. You will provide advice to the Chair and Board on the procedure for meetings and compiling the information needed by the board and its sub committees. In this influential role you will promote and advise on good governance

The successful candidate will have Secretarial experience of supporting a board of trustees at a senior level. You will have excellent administrative, organizational and planning skills. You will thrive on paying attention to detail and communicating effectively.
