Role: Head of Policy and Political Campaigns

Hours: Full Time

Tenure: Fixed Term (18 months)

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Central London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to work as a Head of Policy and Political Campaign in an influential charity that supports schools in starting, expanding and optimising their breakfast provision with the aim that no child is too hungry to learn.

In this exciting new role, you will be an exceptional campaigner and communicator. You will develop policy, campaign strategy and initiatives. You will manage the implementation of the policy and strategy as well as measure its progress. You will develop a plan to drive for long term government investment in school breakfast provision and legislative change.

In this influential role, you will raise awareness and gain support from key influencers. You will review existing campaign partnerships and prioritise alliance building with those most aligned with our strategy.

In this instrumental role, you will have knowledge of the Parliamentary lobbies, the political and civil service networks and the ways into media. You will work closely with the charity founder, CEO and communications team.

The successful candidate will not only have experience developing and delivering successful policy campaigns but also political lobbying and account management. You will have excellent communication, forecasting, organisational and planning skills. You will thrive on building relationships and communicating effectively through a range of communicative tools.
