A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a dynamic and influential charity that supports schools in starting, expanding and optimising their breakfast provision with the aim that no child is too hungry to learn.

In this exciting role, you will be able enthusiastically to utilise your knowledge and apply your skills whilst making a meaningful contribution to the lives of children we support. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering successful fundraising activities. You will oversee community and individual account management to allow us to deliver our goals.

In this influential role, you will be persuasive, enthusiastic and tenacious. You will play a key role in generating income and further raising our profile.  You will be able to communicate effectively and manage fundraising projects.  As a Fundraising Officer you will be key in enabling the charity to provide nutritious food for children and support their educational opportunities by generating income.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for delivering community and events fundraising activities. You will oversee community and individual account management to allow us to deliver our goals. You will develop, grow and deliver a range of fundraising events and activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

Community and Individual Fundraising

·      Undertake and initiate fundraising activities and events

·      Influence and persuade others to continue to work with us

·      Act as the liaison for projects, working with multiple stakeholders

·      Build relationships with Communities to develop relations and maintain business

·      Maintain relations with individual stakeholders to ensure that they are sustainable

·      Successfully and efficiently communicate with stakeholders

·      Provide administrative and project Support

·      Produce effective and engaging materials to support continuous fundraising

·      Manage individual giving funding streams, fundraising events and stakeholder engagement

·      Identify and develop suitable approaches and materials to gain and maintain individual and business support

·      Support fundraising events for the community, individual stakeholders and small business

·      Raise the profile of the Charity


·      Monitor and manage agreed targets

·      Work as part of a team and cross-departmental to ensure that fundraising opportunities are maximised

·      Engage in other activities to support the vision of Magic Breakfast
