Alex joined Magic Breakfast in January 2009, having graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with a degree in English Literature. First starting at Magic Breakfast as administrative support one day a week, Alex worked the rest of the week as a freelance PR consultant. As a consultant he worked primarily for publishers such as Pearson Education and its imprints. As time went on, Alex became more and more involved with Magic Breakfast, becoming increasingly passionate about the cause and devoting more and more of his week to the charity. In Spring 2010, Alex took on the role of School Liaison and Project Manager at Magic Breakfast. Alex eventually took on the full time role of Programme and Operations Manager.
He has recently stepped up to the role of Operations and Engagement Manager and is looking forward to the challenge ahead, remaining passionate about the cause. |
Magic Breakfast and schools have formed this partnership from a shared commitment to ending the negative impact of child poverty upon well being and readiness for learning in our primary schools.
